Color markers!

ImageHey everyone, it’s been a crazy week!

You know how you first make a quick first sketch, then create a more detailed one, and then (if you like it) you work with it either digitally or not?… And how I think we’re supposed to preferably use a pencil for that? Yeah, well, I believe we all have our techniques, and what works for some doesn’t quite works for others…

What I’m saying here is, I’ve been sketching with a baby blue stabilo marker a lot lately! (sometimes I also use green) and I have to say, it has made it much easier for me to construct the body of my characters, so everything works out a bit more dynamic and consistent than it used to.

After that I use a pencil or some chinese ink to outline the character. This two are an example of what I’m talking about!

Proud Tree Hugger

ImageIt’s been a busy week! And a very fun one, I am visiting my sister and I’ve gotten to meet a lot of cool places! But that’s not what this post is about, this time I want to show you an illustration I made last year, which was, incidentally, my old gravatar.

I made this illustration while working on my portfolio, I’ve always been kind of tree hugger, so what better way to express it but in the one I love the most doing!
